Ivannia Mendez

Ms. Méndez has a law degree from the Universidad de Costa Rica and a master degree in international legal practice from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía ISDE (Madrid, Spain). Ivannia practices in the area of corporate law, with a special emphasis on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions. She advises Costa Rican and international clients on all aspects of the day-to-day negotiation and documentation of commercial dealings. Regularly represents public and private companies in negotiated acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures and also worked within the financial sector as counsel for a number of institutions in the structuring of both offerings and deals. Ms. Méndez has also contributed in Brazilian (Porto Alegre and Río de Janeiro) and Spanish (Madrid) law firms, making variety of internships in their corporate departments.
